This instrument produces the ideal "Grandioso" sound for large orchestral textures. It is meticulously hand-forged and hardened for balanced overtones. The sides are delicately curved allowing for added control of rolled passages. Each instrument features an antique finish.

WOW! What a great triangle! I was immediately impressed with the amount of shimmer from the high overtones in such a big instrument - really nice job of tempering. And the gently pinched angles make delicate playing very easy. The finish is superb. I look forward to how the sound of this triangle evolves in the future AND to the purchase of my next Living Sound Triangle.
Bravo!

I told a fellow player that I needed another triangle like I needed a hole in the head, and he agreed. I've probably got 20+ triangles now, with a regular rotation of 8-10 that are in usual use. Yes, I like colors in my music, for all the different musics that can be had.
Nothing, however, quite like the Grandioso! I'm using it today, on a program with Rakoczy March, and with the orchestra it is spectacular in it's ability to go from angelic and delicate pin-pricks of sound to a full-bodied announcement of it's true heft. With only about two weeks of use, I can already see lots of valuable places in my triangle panorama for this beauty.
Congratulations on a magnificent new instrument and design. Besides the sound, it really is catching the eye of my fellow (and non-percussion) performers!

A completely versatile instrument - the Philharmonic Grandioso.
This 9 inch instrument offers a complete range of dynamic contrast, from the softest pianissimo to a Mahler sized forte fortissimo – producing a clear and brilliant sound. While you are able to create a very clear tone for those needed passages, the instrument also has the capabilities to produce a beautiful wash of overtones. The availability of colors the Grandioso offers alone makes this a welcome addition to any professional percussionist’s collection. When using different beater, brass or steel, thick or thin the instrument never let me down, the possibilities are unlimited!
Being the primary accessory player in our orchestra I own many different triangles, with the addition of the Philharmonic Grandioso, I feel my arsenal is now complete.
Thank you Living Sound for this most remarkable instrument.
